Cafe Madrid & El Panon
Café Madrid and Café El Peñón are two brands owned by the same company and produced at the same facility. Each brand has its own history and identity.
The history of Café Madrid dates back to a coffee business established in 1958 under the name Marcelo y Rivero C.A. Operations began in Bejuma, in the state of Carabobo, and later continued in Guacara. Throughout its long history, the brand established a strong presence in Venezuela’s roasted and ground coffee market. Today, we see Café Madrid’s longstanding recognition and heritage as a strong foundation for its future growth. We continue to develop the brand’s products with new varieties and flavors, while introducing them to consumers beyond Venezuela.
Developed in 2003, Café El Peñón is a coffee brand that reaches consumers under its own name and identity. While sharing the same production infrastructure as Café Madrid, it has developed as a distinct brand. At Miller Holding, we continue to expand Café El Peñón with new products and flavors. While maintaining the brand’s presence in Venezuela, we are also introducing it to international markets.
